The Carnegie Mellon Cloud Lab gives access to one of the most comprehensive life science, chemistry and materials science research labs to researchers anywhere in the world. The CMU Cloud Lab is agile and scalable to a variety of missions. Some use cloud labs to access top of the line equipment more easily during discovery and others use cloud labs to automate and optimize routine and ongoing workflows. Scientists around the world can conduct academic research, operate startups and teach university classes exclusively on the cloud without a traditional lab.

The Cloud Lab Command Center provides a full platform for data analysis and visualization with a suite of over 4,500 functions, including advanced machine learning, image processing and multi-dimensional analysis. Command Center seamlessly integrates with the Constellation® knowledge base (developed by Emerald Cloud Lab).
Constellation automatically saves and annotates all experimental methods and data with complete metadata to ALCOA+ standards and verifies data integrity to ensure that everything is model quality. This eliminates the need for individual data visualization, analysis, ELN, LIMS, LES/MES, QMS and even ERP systems and streamlines them into a single coherent package.
