How The CMU Cloud Lab Works
The Carnegie Mellon Cloud Lab is at your command. It provides a single, comprehensive workspace for your entire scientific workflow.
Command
Drop your samples at designated drop points on campus and design your experiments in the Command Center application.
Run
Your experiments are remotely conducted in a highly automated cloud lab facility exactly to your specifications.
Explore
Constellation organizes your data into a powerful knowledge graph, growing automatically over time as you conduct more experiments.
Analyze
Command Center provides an extensive suite of tools to plot, analyze and visualize your results. Pick up your processed samples at the designated drop points.
A SINGLE SOFTWARE INTERFACE TO THE ENTIRE LABORATORY
The Cloud Lab Command Center provides a full platform for data analysis and visualization with a suite of over 4,500 functions, including advanced machine learning, image processing and multi-dimensional analysis. Command Center seamlessly integrates with the Constellation® knowledge base (developed by Emerald Cloud Lab).
Constellation automatically saves and annotates all experimental methods and data with complete metadata to ALCOA+ standards and verifies data integrity to ensure that everything is model quality. This eliminates the need for individual data visualization, analysis, ELN, LIMS, LES/MES, QMS and even ERP systems and streamlines them into a single coherent package.
